Forge Your Legend in the Ironwild

IronQuestForge is a hand-built action-RPG where every blade you swing was hammered by your own hand. Chart the contour of untamed valleys, smelt rare ore at midnight, and carve a quest no one else will ever walk.

The Game

A world drawn like an old trail map

We built IronQuestForge for players who read the landscape before they draw a sword. The Ironwild is a 42 km² open region rendered in a hand-inked contour style — every ridge, riverbed and forgotten smelting camp is placed by hand, not spawned by an algorithm. Your compass is a real tool, your map fills in only where your boots have been.

At the heart of it all is the forge. Gather ore from six biomes, temper it against weather and altitude, and craft weapons whose stats are shaped by where and how you smithed them. No two blades in the Ironwild are ever truly identical.

How It Works

From raw ore to legendary blade

Four core loops keep every expedition into the Ironwild feeling earned.

  1. 01

    Survey the terrain

Read the contour lines, spot elevation seams where rare ore surfaces, and plot a route before the weather turns against you.

  2. 02

    Extract & haul

Mine ironsand, moss-copper and star-iron. Weight slows you down, so pack smart — every kilo you carry changes how you fight.

  3. 03

    Work the anvil

Time your hammer strikes, manage forge heat, and quench at the right altitude. Skill at the anvil directly shapes weapon stats.

  4. 04

    Quest & prove it

Take your forged gear into dynamic hunts and ridge-line duels. Every victory etches a new mark onto your personal saga.

What the early expedition says

Feedback from our Early Access community across the UK and beyond.

"The forging system is the first crafting loop that's actually made me stop and think. Quenching a blade at altitude and watching the stats shift is genuinely brilliant."

"I spent an entire evening just reading the map and planning an ore run. No quest markers hand-holding you — the Ironwild trusts you to explore, and it's so refreshing."

T
Tomasz W.
Edinburgh, UK · February 2026

"Runs beautifully on my mid-range laptop and the hand-inked art style still looks stunning. Sunk 60 hours in already and I've barely touched the northern ridges."

"The team actually reads the Discord. A weapon-balance suggestion I posted went live in a patch two weeks later. That's the kind of dev I want to support."
